The story of FHSLife began not in a showroom, but in a small woodworking studio. Our founder grew up in a family of carpenters, surrounded by the scent of wood shavings and the rhythm of hand tools.
While studying furniture design, he became fascinated by the purity and balance of mid-century modern furniture — designs that spoke through clean lines, honest materials and subtle sophistication.
Driven by a desire to bring these timeless forms into modern homes, he brought together a team of like-minded artisans and designers. Together, they set out to carefully reproduce and reinterpret beloved modern designs with greater comfort, thoughtful improvements and uncompromising attention to quality.
Today, FHSLife continues to build on that original idea: using carefully selected materials and refined craftsmanship to create furniture that captures the character of iconic modern design while fitting naturally into contemporary life.
We believe great design should not be limited by unnecessary markups or exclusivity. By working closely with our manufacturing partners, we focus our resources on the things that matter most — materials, construction, comfort and detail — making distinctive furniture more accessible to the people who genuinely appreciate it.
